Nabil Karam 3rd in French Ice Race
Lebanon's former rally champion Nabil Karam came in third place in the elite category of the 12th stage of the Andros Trophy car race on artificial ice held in France, the National News Agency reported Tuesday.
Karam came third from among 36 elite drivers at Super Besse, NNA said. Among them were six formula one drivers, such as former French Formula One champion Alain Prost and Canadian star Jacques Villeneuve.
Frenchman Adrien Tambay came first.
The 12th stage was the last before the final that will be held at Stade de France in one of Paris' suburbs on March 5, NNA added.
